Current Yard Status

I wanted to share our yard with you all! It is looking so good right now! Dion and my Mom have also done an AWESOME job on the bank out back, so I wanted to post some pics of that as well. Also, our flowers are about 1/2 planted now. We still have to do around the deck, along the side of the house, and the vine around the mailbox.
And the garden is doing really well! We'll be reaping those crops before we know it! Tomato sandwiches ... yummmm-o!This is along the garage on the entrance side. It's hard to see kind of, but we planted snapdragons here again. They do really well in this spot and come back for like 3 years on average. I think this is the third time we have planted there and our 6th year in the house!Next - mailbox! We still need to pick up one of those vine things from the Farmer's Market down the street. We are going to try that this year. They always look so pretty. Hopefully we'll have good luck with it. More pics once it's planted ... And the front of the house! Looks great, huh? Can you tell Dion expanded the mulch bed? Once we finish down the side of the house, we'll post more pictures. Then you'll really be able to see how much bigger the flower beds are now!Close up of the walk up ... And the pot on the way in the front door ...

One Crazy Kid!

Dillon was 7 months old yesterday and let me just say, he is a wild one!! Check out some of these great pictures Mom has taken over the past couple days. Dillon is constantly cracking us up! He is at such a fun age now - and from what I hear, it just gets better!! Note above he's kissing himself! Maybe we kiss him a *little* too much!!There Dillon is proud as can be after he untied the bumper and made a little pillow for himself! Goodness me!
And here he is peaking through the crib. Mom thinks he looks at the clock each morning to know what time he needs to get up. You see, they watch Rachael Ray every morning at 9am together, so he has to be up and going by then!
This last picture is just too much. Look what a mess has been made in this bed! The thing is, he is a great baby, and does not cry when you lay him down or when he wakes up ... now we see why. All along, he's been plotting his plan to wreck havoc in his crib and now he's put his plan into action!! LOL

Happy Easter!

Today was Dillon's first Easter! To prepare, last night he slept in his bunny PJs ... ha ha ha! He's sitting on the couch with all his bunnies! Thanks Sara and Aunt Debbie!
And then this afternoon he "opened" his basket! The Easter Bunny came here and to Grandmommy and Poppy's house! He has had a lot of fun today playing with his new toys on the floor. He is sitting up so good these days! He sat for almost an hour earlier. Now of course, he's snoozing away!

Here is also is sitting with Grandmommy. Can you see by the drool all over his face that his second tooth is coming in?
And here's the link to more Easter pictures! Enjoy the pictures! Our little boy is growing so fast, it's hard to keep up with all the new things he's into each day! Happy Easter to all!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail ...

Dillon didn't cry at all while visiting the Easter Bunny today! I was so excited! I think he's starting to be okay with people again ... shew! We had a very nice walk in Birkdale. It is beautiful today! Dillon is sitting up in his stroller now too - Big Stuff! He loves looking around! I just hope his feet aren't sunburnt! I guess it's time to start applying the sunscreen.

2009 Garden

Dion got the garden started a couple weekends ago. Here is the first picture! Hopefully we will be as successful as we were last year and have many many tomato sandwiches! This year, we are featuring the following crops: cilantro & cinnamon basil (very yummy ... can't wait to put it in the salads!), green & red bell peppers and jalapeno peppers, beefsteak and cherry tomatoes, and strawberries!
