Super Month

OK - I have big goals for March ... and I am going to list them out here so they are public and I feel accountable. May be TMI for some of you, and I'm okay with that! Hope you are! Here goes:

1) Drink only one caffeinated drink per day
2) Only buy my lunch 4 times total for the month
3) Go to the gym 6 out of 7 days per week
4) Wash my face every night before going to bed
5) No dirty dishes in the sink when I go to bed
6) Do not cheat on Weight Watchers
7) Ultimate Goal - lose 10 lbs in March

I know this looks like a lot - especially since I am no where near these goals right now - I only have been drinking caffeinated drinks lately; I have been slack about packing my lunch (buying like 3 days a week); I have been going to the gym consistently 3 days a week, but no more than that; I don't wash my face; I do dishes about 50% of the time - Mom gets them the other 50%; I have been cheating like crazy on WW, hence the last goal - lose some of this weight that's still hanging around! My baby is 5 months old for goodness sake! So, let me finish my thought ... I know this seems like a lot, but I am only committing to it for one month. I can do it! THINK POSITIVELY!

OK - having said all that, I now have to make a grocery list and get cooking on my cheese fondue for the Wine and Cheese party tonight! (Timing is everything ... glad today's still Feb!) I'll post my status - I know you all cannot wait to hear the updates! LOL

Green Beans!

Dillon has now had the following (for those who are interested ... which is probably not a lot! HA!): rice cereal, oatmeal, barley, carrots, green beans and sweet peas! Here is a picture of Dion feeding Dillon green beans. Those seem to be his favorite by far to date ... boy loves his green beans (just like his mommy ... 0 points on WW!)

Pictures!

Check out these pictures of Dillon's first professional photo shoot! How precious!! CLICK HERE

And here are some other random shots that Mom has taken during the recent days! CLICK HERE

The Kids Visit!

This past weekend was a great one! A busy one, but a great one! Patrick and Sara came to visit! Dion and Patrick went to Atlanta on Saturday to the motocross thing (I'm not into the technical details!), and Sara and I hung out with Dillon. We all had a lot of fun.
Here's Sara feeding her brother some oatmeal Saturday morning!

And here they are hanging out later!

Race Day

Well, it was fun while it lasted ... the break from Nascar that is! It's race day, and as you can see, Mom does not even exist! Somehow Dillon is already totally into the race ... go figure!

Come on boys! Let's go racing! Boogety Boogety Boogety!

Carrots!

Today my baby ate carrots for the first time! Before this, he has just had rice cereal, oatmeal and barley. He didn't love the carrots, but rather he tolerated them! He ate 1/2 a jar, which was the goal. Now he's snoozing ... there's nothing like filling your belly on a Saturday and then taking a big fat nap. I did the first part ... Old Timer's Breakfast from Cracker Barrel ... now I need the nap!

Moods

I really try not to allow circumstances like the weather effect my mood in negative ways, but I will tell you, it's hard to be down when the sun is hitting my face! I guess that's especially true this time of year when the winter days keep me bundled up inside most of the time. Today Dillon and I took a pretty good walk and it really refreshed me. Now that Dillon is napping, I guess I better get started on some chores ... it was fun while it lasted.

Dillon's Eating Cereal

Dillon is growing up! Check out these recent pictures of him. He's a cutie cutie cutie pie! And still as good as ever. Precious!

It's Snowing!

I certainly love the snow! I am kind of bummed because I could work from home tomorrow and drink hot chocolate in my PJs,but I have to go in because we are having special guests ... and because we are having special guests, I should probably not wear my PJsinto the office! HA HA! The other (bad) news is the gym will likely be closed ... oh well! I can say I tried!

Our deck is beautiful, is it not?
